Vinay Ranjan joined Airlie as an Equities Analyst in 2020 and became Deputy Portfolio Manager in 2023. Prior to joining Airlie, Vinay was an investment analyst at Hayberry Global Fund, a long-short global equities fund focused on special situations. At Hayberry, Vinay was part of a small team and had responsibility for investing across the industrial and consumer sectors globally.
Prior to this, Vinay was an investment banking associate at Macquarie Capital, where he advised on a number of complex M&A transactions including trade sales, recapitalisations and leveraged buyouts. Vinay holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of New South Wales.
